I have a confession.
From time to time, I’m binge scrolling on Facebook to stay in touch with my friends who have the amazing idea to live in different time zones. From Melbourne to Mexico, let’s say it takes a little stretch to catch them all at once.
That said, I’m often sad to see some questions that pop into Hygge groups. It seems like people are tied to such a misconception of what Hygge is.
They genuinely ask for help and guidance to find the perfect hygge labeled color palette for their walls, or they want to know why Hygge is to tied to hot cocoa and cupcakes… Needless to mention the “Hygge is so unhealthy, I don’t want to overindulge all year long”
This one really breaks my heart cos it brings back so many awful memories from the time I’ve been bullied for being chubby.
Guess what, there’s nothing far away from truth to believe that Hygge is NOT a healthy lifestyle. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
