Ep 55: How to start Hygge when you have a very small space?

Welcome to The Hygge Planner Show Episode #55, today I’m talking about how to start Hygge when you have a very small space

I love answering questions from my audience and my followers.

So thank you Skye  for asking me this one.

If you want me to cover a special topic like Skye and send me an email at clientcare@thehyggeplanner.com (the link is mentioned in the podcast notes).

Back to the question shall we? Living in a tiny space is something I’ve experienced when I was living in Switzerland. My apartment was about 18 to 20 square meter. No washing machine allowed, not even a separated bedroom.

It was tiny but I made it cosy and as comfortable as possible (on a budget of course). I was studying criminology and, as a student, let’s say my budget was very very small.

In this episode, I’ll discuss my 3-step process:

  • How to start with what you have
  • How to be strategic based on what you want to create
  • The one trick I use to get things done no matter what.

Remember that Hygge is way more than a decor.

It’s a feeling to build not to buy. Creating a cosy atmosphere doesn’t mean spending thousands of dollars/ pounds/ euros in fancy decor.

If you want to learn a little more about home decor, listen the episode 51 where I share my review about a book called designology by Sally Augustin
